Food along with water and shelter form the physical bedrock of life. For some in the Central Susquehanna River Valley finding food is difficult. Hunger is a reality of life for some in the region. For others, food signals a chance to grow organic, local food and form a connection to the food source. Many food processing businesses have plants and packaging facilities in the region.
